Primarily in this eminently emotional kind of music I always find something fitting for the current mood. For myself, Obsidia is not only a haven for the banality of the dull daily grind but Obsidia also means to have a circle of friends where one can simply BE and where I can live my creativity, my tempers and my believes. This band is not only an arbitrarily conglomerated bunch of musicians but Obsidia is a symbiosis of 5 people that found each other. As the “keyboardress” I foremost arrange the evil basis but sometimes I also play the melody. My lines pretty much mirror myself: More in the background but always there and sometimes in the spotlight but only when really necessary. Prior to Obsidia I played in a rock-cover band called “Flashback” and in other smaller combos. Additionally I have studied at the music school in the subjects keyboard and classical piano for 13 years. I have been listening to Metal since I was a small child. Back then my favourites where Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden and other bands of this kind. I found the Gothic Metal a few years ago and since then I have been caught in it.
Vor allem in dieser besonders emotionsgeladenen Art von Musik finde ich immer das passende für jede Stimmung. Obsidia bedeutet für mich nicht nur ein Ort der Zuflucht vor der Banalität des tristen Alltages, Obsidia bedeutet auch im Kreis von treuen Freunden einfach sein zu können, meine Kreativität, meine Launen und meine Einstellung einfach leben zu können. Diese Band ist für mich nicht nur ein zusammen gewürfelter Haufen von Musikern, sondern Obsidia ist eine Symbiose aus 5 Menschen, die sich gefunden haben. Als Keyboarderin sorge ich meist für den böstitiven Grundteppich und gebe ab und zu auch den Ton an. Meine Lines sind eigentlich eine gute Beschreibung für mich selbst. Eher im Hintergrund gehalten, doch immer da und ab und zu im Rampenlicht, aber nur, wenns unbedingt sein muss. Vor Obsidia spielte ich in der Rock-Cover Band Flashback und in einer kleinen Combo. Außerdem lernte ich 13 Jahre lang an der Musikschule Keyboard und erhielt klassischen Pianounterricht. Dem Metal zugetan war ich schon mit 3 Jahren. Damals war ich fasziniert von Metallica, Slayer und Iron Maiden. Den Gothic Metal fand ich für mich schon vor einigen Jahren. Equipment:Yamaha PSR 290
